Catharsis

“Catharsis” is an audiovisual experiment by Stan Herben. Surrender to the light and the heat will dissolve. We live in a society that is so hyper connected in the online world, that we became disconnected with ourselves and the real world surrounding us. We learn to repress negative emotions, and to always seek for pleasure, like a mask for the pain. We think that a ‘bad’ feeling is something we should escape. But when is understood that we are our feelings, we are the present moment, and we should experience everything to the fullest, we will experience catharsis.
